About the Event

The summer school aims to introduce the basic methods for working with Extracellular Vesicles (EVs). It will take you through all the steps to work with EVs starting from sample preparation and EV purification until the EV characterization and the data analysis. A series of seminars and hands-on training will be provided, thus a participant would have a thorough overview of different methods applicable at the University of Tartu (TU).  The seminars and hands-on training sessions will be conducted by researchers and PhD students working on different EV projects in Tartu. Additionally, at least two experts from outside Estonia will be involved in the seminars. The outcome of this Summer School would be knowledge, which helps the student and researchers to plan and conduct a project to study EVs. 


Considering the possible travel restrictions, we are organizing the event as a hybrid event. Therefore, those who cannot attend the summer school in person can take part in the event using the virtual platform.
